We're not going to hide it: July has been a very hard month for us. The exceptionally hot weather here in Yorkshire and across the UK along with other factors like an unexpected legal challenge have meant it's been difficult for us and many other yarn stores to keep things ticking along. August the 1st is not only the start of a new month but it's also Yorkshire Day, so we thought it's the ideal opportunity to start things off with a bang and encourage you to support us and the things we stand for: local Yorkshire production of our yarns, local heritage sheep breeds as our raw fibre and sharing the inspiration we see around us in our local landscape through our shades and pattern designs.
So, how can we celebrate Yorkshire Day and our gorgeous Yorkshire Yarns after a tough month? A cheeky flash sale that's how! For the next 24 hours, there'll be 25% all our yarns shown below:
Discounting our yarns is something we try to avoid most of the time, but we hope it passes on an incentive to show us your support, and to our lovely retailers too. Offer will end at 9am BST tomorrow (2nd August) so fill your boots! Click here
to view everything that's on offer. All subject to availability.
One yarn that's not included in our flash sale but is still available for pre order is our brand new Winterburn aran
, shown here knitted up in a new version of Alison Moreton's Pond Street shawl. Inspired by the chevron style stonework at the city of Sheffield's central rail station, this one of several designs inspired by Yorkshire Landmarks that we've now pulled together in to one booklet, re-made in our Winterburn yarns. You can pre order that, alongside the Winterburn aran
by clicking here
And for even more shiny new things, make sure you've booked your place at our new season launch on Thursday 16th August
with our special guest, Lucy from Attic 24
. Almost half the tickets have already gone and we'd hate for you to be disappointed. Your £5 fee includes double loyalty points on any purchases that evening, a super exciting goody bag packed full of goodness, as well as a sneaky peek at our new yarns and the story of the one of the UK most successful crochet bloggers. Click here
to book, and we'll see you there!
