Happy New Year baa ram ewers! We begin 2019 with all hands on deck to prepare for our epic January sale. This year we are doing things a little differently- we'll be holding our one day sale in store only on Saturday January 12th, from 10am-5pm, with many exclusive yarns, samples and books at 40% off. Then the following weekend we'll have our online sale with further discounts for you to treat yourself to. It's the largest sale we've had to date so make sure you get yourself to the shop if you can.
One thing that hasn't changed is our commitment to give 10% off all our sale profits to those in need. This time we have formed a baa ram ewe team on the fantastic Kiva platform- a site which loans individuals all over the world in need money to start or grow their business. We'd love you to join our team (Ravelry have a team too here) and help us select who should we should fund from the three women we've shortlisted by casting your vote at the bottom of this page.
Fusun from Turkey, pictured above, makes and weaves decorative products from felt and sells them to her neighbours and friends.
Sandra Elizabeth lives in Ecuador and needs more working capital to purchase wool, ribbons, feathers, large pins, thread and fabric to make and sell more clothing, rugs, and blankets allowing her to continue to support her family.
Railakan from Kyrgyzstan would like a loan to buy more sheep to help grow her and her husband's farm, improving the living conditions of her family.
Who should we fund with 10% of our sale profits? Cast your vote in the box below- you can also give them your support independently by joining our baa ram ewe Kiva team here. Thank you for your support.Create your own user feedback survey
