Here in West Yorkshire we're in the middle of the rhubarb season, a vegetable which has been central to this area's farming communities, made most famous by Yorkshire's vivd pink 'forced rhubarb' which became a shade inspiration for us in our
Dovestone and
Titus ranges. It's such a strong part of our colour palette and works well both as a main shade or as a flash of contrast. We have just a few hanks remaining of it in our
Dovestone dk before it disappears for ever, so we thought we'd give you a little inspiration:
We love this super cute Withernsea Tunic designed by Alison Moreton from our
Yorkshire Shores collection. With cable straps and a lovely little pocket detail, the book also has a version for adults too! Click

Love your Ravelry indie designers? Bristol Ivy's
In August, Away cowl looks fantastic in our Rhubarb
Dovestone, with just the right amount of texture to add interest in both the knitting and the wearing. You can download the pattern here and you'll need 3 hanks of
Dovestone dk to make it.
