When we spotted the Matilda sweater by Julia Wilkens on Ravelry, we instantly knew we had to make a kit for this beautiful garment. We've created five colourways for this pullover, two of which include exclusive shades 'Nidderdale', our infamous royal green shade, and 'Matilda ', a dusty pink which pays homage to the contrast colour in the Matilda Sweater. Using Pip Colourwork, Matilda is a lightweight Colourwork sweater knitted from top down. Designer Julia Wilkens has said 'The sweater's body has a generous 5"/13cm positive ease, the sleeves have slightly less positive ease for an extra flattering fit. There is a squishy 2x1 ribbing finishing with a rolled up edge.
Each kit will come with 15 balls of Pip Colourwork, 11 for the main colour (written first in the title & the bottom shade in each image) and 2 for each contrast colour. The kit is a standard size and there is enough yarn to make all the sizes available in the Matilda pattern. A digital copy of the pattern will be emailed to you once the kit has been dispatched.
