Marie Wallin - Wren pattern

Wren by Marie Wallin, a gorgeous sweater knitted in the round with a fair isle yoke, made in baa ram ewe Titus.

Marie says:

"‘WREN' is one of two designs I have created using Baa Ram Ewe’s Titus yarn and is one of my first designs not using Rowan yarn! It has been such a pleasure designing with this lovely 4ply yarn as it is beautifully soft and a dream to knit with. This design is a fitted shape and will equally look good with a tweed skirt or a pair of jeans. It is a good first fairisle garment to knit if you are new to fairisle knitting as it is worked entirely in the round and therefore knitted constantly on the right side.

I normally prefer to work with more melange or tweedy yarn colours but it was a good experience designing using the solid colours available in Titus. These colours are lovely and clear and perfect for this yoke fairisle design and the second of my designs ‘FINCH'. As I am now mostly known for my fairisle designs, then I wanted to design two new fairisles to show the beauty of this yarn. I hope you agree and that you enjoy knitting and wearing this design."
