Whitlam is a simple lace cowl which only takes one hank to make.
One of our earliest patterns, it showcased our first yarn, Titus, a gorgeous blend of the finest British fibres: Wensleydale, Bluefaced Leicester and Britsh Alpaca. Titus is named after Sir Titus Salt, a Yorkshire industrialist and philanthropist who set up the model village of Saltaire, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Salts Mill at the heart of the village was the largest industrial building in the world when it was completed.
We’ve named this pattern after XXX, which was the maiden name of Titus Salt’s mother.
Pattern includes full written instructions and optional chart. Knit on 3.75mm needles.
