The North Ronaldsay sheep originates from the island of the same name, which is the most northern of the Orkney Islands.

For most of the year the sheep live on the shore and eat seaweed, only being allowed off the shore during lambing time.

This yarn is produced and spun on North Ronaldsay - please note there may be a slight variation in weights of hanks as a result.

Most skeins are 85g - 100g/352m - 400m approx.

The dark grey comes in 90g/300m approx.
