We love this beautiful new design by Thea Colman in our Winterburn dk. Here is what she has to say about it:

"Herbsaint is my sweater to bridge the seasons this year, with short sleeves, an easy fit, and some gorgeous detail. A simple tee is easy to wear with anything, and both the heather and drape of the Winterburn DK gives Herbsaint a delicate, but simple feel that's perfect for a late summer night or a crisp fall day. The neckline and shoulder shaping play off the ribbing, as does the optional shaping at the bottom of the back piece. Over the body, long, elegant cables are placed between simple ribs, accenting the side to side construction of top pieces. The lines feel classic and delicate and the cables themselves open up beautifully when worn this way.

The Winterburn dk is gorgeous in this design. The subtle heathers in the colors pop beautifully in the cables, and add to the delicate feeling of the motif. The drape is perfect for a garment like this, and the weight is exactly what I want in a transitional piece. It will look just as good in winter with boots and long sleeves as it does over a tank and jeans here.

Side to side construction is a fun change of direction, and once the top pieces are seamed, the bottom portion of the sweater is knit downwards in the round. Herbsaint is also easy to modify for either length or width, and as always, notes on how and where to do so are included in the pattern."
